From the New Castle Librarian

"Author Martha Kruse and illustrator Phyllis Stibler delighted New Castle community members with their Haley Mae book series presentation. We learned about the writing process, illustration development, and the journey to publication.  After Phyllis shared some of her original artwork (stunning!) they spoke about the process of merging illustrations with text. Their lively program was informative and energizing for aspiring writers and illustrators, and for people who appreciate beautiful books."  by Christine Collins

In response to Feb 7 Laconia Library Event:

Hi Martha and Phyllis,

I was so happy to learn about your talk at the Laconia Library. Having never self-published before and hoping to do so in the near future I had so many questions and didn’t really know where to go for the answers.  Your presentation led me in the right direction to explore the need for an editor and publisher and also helped me to understand that printers need to be explored to meet my own needs.  Thank you so much for your help.
